Helping Resolve Mental Health Issues in Children and Adults

Our practice will provide an array of quality mental health and substance abuse/addiction services to individuals, couples, and families. The service population includes people of all ages. Specifically, services will include psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, substance abuse programs, and contracted mental health services. These services will interact closely with the client’s primary care physician, when appropriate.

A multidisciplinary staff will provide quality treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, behavioral disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, stress management, substance abuse disorders, and gambling addiction disorders. This philosophy of treatment recognizes the totality of the individual in his or her life situation. This includes the interconnection of multiple dimensions from biomedical to spiritual, as well as external relationships of the individual to the family and larger social groups.

Why Choose Mercyland Psychiatry?

Our team has many years of experience in the practice of psychiatry. We have formed a unique and effective family-based approach to mental health, encompassing the use of health promotion, prevention, and intelligent intervention. This is the same time-tested approach developed by the Vermont Center for Youth and Family at the University of Vermont.
